Something I need to admit to our readers:
As a small boy, I was forced to attend the state assembly with my family. Bored to death in the front row, I caught the attention of a man named Thomas Monson, who was on stage. To amuse myself, I began to imitate him. When he crossed his legs, so did I. When he rested his chin in his hand, I did too.
This continued until Monson found the one thing I was incapable of imitating — he wiggled his ears. From that moment on, I promised myself that one day I would become a world champion ear wiggler. Watch as Monson tells the story of our affair…
Thomas Monson is now the President of the LDS Church. When he wiggles his ears, it still sends shivers down my spine. I wonder if he knows he inspired me to reach this day.
