Yesterday, I read Pat Kiernan‘s tweet about tripwires in Times Square…about 30 seconds before I would’ve been clotheslined by one. Wtf was NYPD thinking? Thank you Pat Kiernan. You saved me.
Sometimes it feels like New York City has one central command center from which all things can be seen, and Pat’s the only guy in there, starting at 4am, watching everything go down, then telling us about it. The pot deals, the potholes, the potential for greatness in every new app for your iphone. I love you, man. Even before you did VH1.
I pledge allegiance to an authentic man of focus. In times like these, I count on Pat Kiernan for my news (when Jon Stewart‘s not on).
