Jeffrey Keyton's such a design genius, I've literally stalked him to get him to work with me. The guy's a complete legend in these halls because so much of the visual language of MTV for the past 20 years, well, came literally from him. When Jeffrey dropped by my office and picked up this cheap, out-of-tune guitar from the set of last year's series Engine Room, then started jammin' on it, I grabbed my Flip and hit the red button.... After he got a little warmed up, Jeffrey settled into a groove and pulled this out...

annirossi Two weeks ago, Shannon introduced us to clips of Anni Rossi playing viola and singing. Never seen anyone quite like her. I don't know Anni, but I invited her to come jam in the office. She just accepted the invite. Amalie Plays Glockenspiel In My Office

Amalie Bruun came by the office here at MTV in Times Square. She brought her Glockenspiel.

She sat on my window sill, we opened some wine (I may or may not have stolen) from Tony DiSanto's office, and she played us some songs. Usually, Amalie's band backs her up. But today it's just Amalie, her glocks and us... I love this song, it's called "I Feel Sick" (can you say, "Label bidding war?")   Another incredible original, "Housecat" (Lars Von Trier you have a movie in your head, set to this song) Here's "E-e-everytime" ...and Musicbox Then she grabbed a guitar -- the one we used when we shot "MTV Engine Room" last year -- and covered "Spider To A Fly" by the Stones...
