Unidentified Flying Projects (n, plural): Projects that — regardless of their creative merit or commercial potential — due to the unorthodox nature of their type or their trajectory, enter the ecosystem of a media company, provoke spasms and agitation, and encounter systemic rejection in the form of strident disinterest, willful neglect or both.
